Tips that should help BAT Logistics to provide you the most competitive rates.

Welcome to BAT Logistics Blog

Date 11/23/09

Tips to keep in minding when in need of rates for your shipments

1) -If its possible, schedule your freight to pick up on Monday, Tues or Wed. Traditionally, on these days its less traffic(amount of trucks picking freight up) The less traffic, the more trucks we have available to decide from. Then comes Friday and freight increases, while availabilty of trucks decline. Monday gets the surplus of freight from Friday and now ranks as the second most traffic.

* We based the traffic by the amount of pick ups recorded at the end of each day and from Jan 1st 2009 to November 1st 2009.

2)List the weight when asking for a quote. We may be able to consolidate it or use other size trailers.

3)How flexible is the pick up? We may be able to line up your load with one of our drivers unloading nearby that we can put it with. This would cut down on the amount of per mile.

4) Let BAT know if you need a volume rate. We can help protect your rate and lock in dedicated service.
